CYSIAM teams up with Cranfield Defence and Security to deliver Operational Digital Forensics training to global clients
Cranfield Defence and Security Services Ltd., a commercial trading entity of Cranfield University, has formed a new partnership with CYSIAM, a specialist cyber security provider. The two companies have signed a Collaboration Agreement to deliver courses at Cranfield University’s new state-of-the-art Digital Forensic facility near Milton Keynes. This training is aimed at global law enforcement, military and security services focusing on the technical and procedural skills required to conduct operational forensics and investigations on all types of digital platforms, from mobile phones to networks to drones.
All training will be led by expert practitioners who have conducted digital forensics countering organised crime and terrorist operations under extreme pressure in some of the most hostile and challenging parts of the world. Underpinned by the most up-to-date research from Cranfield Defence and Security, these practical courses will enable delegates to develop sustainable skills to take back into their critical roles.
Simon Harwood, Managing Director of Cranfield Defence and Security Services Ltd, commented “Digital Forensics is an ‘in-demand’ skill and we are delighted to partner with CYSIAM to bring operational experience to our portfolio of defence and security education and research.”
Steve Lancaster, CYSIAM CEO, added “We feel privileged to be working alongside an organisation with the history and global respect that Cranfield has.
